Our Process
The name Base 4 Designs is inspired by one of the most elegant systems ever created: the four-base genetic code that serves as the foundation of all living organisms. From just four simple building blocks, life produces extraordinary diversity, resilience, and adaptability.
We believe great software follows many of those same principles.
Rather than building isolated pages and one-off solutions, we create reusable building blocks that work together as complete systems. Small, well-designed components combine to create increasingly sophisticated experiences without sacrificing consistency or maintainability.

Molecules
Atoms combine to create small groupings of elements. Combining inputs and buttons can create a form.

Organisms
Organisms are formed from groups of molecules forming page content. For example, a form combine with text can fill out a content area.

Layouts/Containers
Layouts/containers provide slots where content can be placed consistent with branding and design.

Pages
Page are formed by stacking layouts/containers filled with content. Each one specifically tuned to your overall design and branding.
